Named after the 19th century British Prime Minister, Earl Grey is the most popular tea in Western culture, as well as the most popular black tea and the most popular scented tea. Traditionally speaking, Earl Grey is any tea scented with oil of Bergamot, a Mediterranean citrus fruit. Today there are too many Earl Grey varieties to count, ranging from Rooibos to Green, White and even Oolong. This is the most traditional of the bunch, a medium Chinese black tea with oil of Bergamot. Enjoy!
