With simple steps and superb results, this mix calls for a touch of water, a drizzle of olive oil, and a brief hour of rest before it's destined for a cast iron skillet. A mere 20-25 minutes of baking at 450 degrees will yield a culinary masterpiece that boasts a crisp, golden-brown top and bottom, while harboring a lusciously moist and chewy center.
Sprinkle with a little flake salt and a dusting of Parmesan cheese, or you can personalize your focaccia with an array of toppings – sundried tomatoes, gooey mozzarella cheese, savory bacon, and beyond. The creative possibilities extend even further, inviting you to infuse olive oil directly into the mix, amplifying the experience with additional layers of flavor.
